W203 ESP with Intermittent ABS

Salutations everyone, The title pretty much says it all: my ABS and ESP lights go out occasionally, but when I hit anything, they come back on. Could it be the wiring, the sensor, or the ring? Please, simply tell me from which direction the problem is emanating. I have a laptop, a plethora of generic cords, and a number of readers, but none of them can read my abs. I am also missing Mercedes-specific cables. How much does it cost to simply retrieve the abs code? Much obliged.

Have it scanned for codes by a local Mercedes expert. The gold standard, and after that, a diagnosis is certain.

Unable to determine without scanning. Chaffing in the wiring of the wheel speed sensor is one of numerous possible causes.
