Hello everyone, In the past two months, I treated my wife to a 2026 Toyota Rav4 XSE PHEV. We sniffed around for a month and discovered standing water in the spare tyre area, so we assumed it was mildew. We retrieved the drain plug, removed all the water, and dried the area. I then poured baking soda around the water's source, sealed the hole, and placed a sprinkler on top, hoping that it would burst again so we could locate the source of the leak. that didn't work. We reassembled everything, and I double-checked it after the recent heavy rains, and sure enough, water is once again present. Though I do have an upcoming appointment, I was hoping to hear from anyone else who has experienced this issue.

That wasn't an issue with the 2026 Rav4 XSE Hybrid that the parents owned.
They should be able to fix it for you; it's unfortunate that it's happening to you with a new car.

Thank you! I have no doubt that they will. Aside from that, the car is fantastic, but my wife finds its excessive power to be hilarious.

I appreciate it! They will, I am sure of it. Except for that, the car is great; however, my wife thinks it's funny because of how powerful it is.

I spray water on them for a while, but there was no leakage; perhaps I didn't spray for long enough. I also heard that.

I hope the dealer takes care of it for you soon. After this happened to my 2020, I found that keeping those packs in the car for a while helped with odour and water absorption. Under the floor tray, I placed the little bucket ones, and I checked on them every two weeks.
