Anyone else's 2026 CX-90 T S engine started but then jumped between 1000 and 500 rpm, the gas pedal stopped responding, and the green "ready" light on the dashboard started flashing? After waiting 30 seconds, I turned off the engine and got a normal start. After six months and five thousand miles and one service at the dealership, the car is still going strong. One more thing: when it rains or snows, the Toyo tires are terrible. Searching for any cause for concern or people who have experienced the same thing as me.

Not at all. The only problem has been a little bucking and stumbling as iStop (also known as iHate) tries to figure out if it should be engaged or not.

I have 5900 miles on a three-year-old 2024 TSPP and hundreds of starts and turns off cycles, but nothing like that. Occasionally, computers can experience confusion, leading to unusual behaviour.

Please report back on your experience with the new tires if you decide to swap out the old Toyo tires. What do you do when it snows and rains?

The weather is quite wet and snowy here. Pirelli Scorpion Verde tyres will be my next purchase in six months.
