My CX-60 kept giving me new rattles and creaks, even after I chased them all. Plus, the constant rumble of tires and other vehicles drives me crazy when there aren't any nearby. Although I requested that my previous dealer instal soundproofing on my doors, I seriously doubt that they did so. After I voiced my displeasure, the doors stopped sounding like a tin can, but the sound can still easily penetrate. Perhaps it would be much better if I spent 1500 euros soundproofing it, but then I would have to sacrifice some electric vehicle range due to the extra weight. When I replace my tires, I will look for the quietest ones I can find.
After reading that even more affordable cars are surprisingly silent these days, I try to convince myself that I was just spoilt by my prior German cars.
This car is a love/hate relationship, but I intend to use it until the day it dies.
