Good day,

Just got a new 69-plate E63s to replace my old 69-plate E53. In my opinion, the absence of pops and fringe is a result of the OPF.
How can we fix this so that we can get pre-OPF sound? Finding the best route is important to me because I also want to avoid MOT and emissions problems.

My sincere appreciation

Listen to my E63s with the 19 plates. Obviously, it has had some work done, and tomorrow will be its first MOT under my ownership.
When it succeeds or fails, I will inform you more. The problem is with the emissions, not the noise.

Well done and excellent selection of vehicles. If you have a 69 plate, it should still sound loud in race and sport plus modes, but it will be quieter than before the facelift. Discuss your options with msl tuning if you're in the Midlands, or ask around; any exhaust modder worth their salt should have solutions that pass the MOT.

Has the exhaust undergone any changes? It depends on the tester's idea of what constitutes "unacceptably" loud, but they can fail due to noise.
