I am currently experiencing this strange problem for the second time with the 2024+ HU, and I am wondering if anyone else has encountered it while updating the maps:
It says the map is corrupted after I update it; I try running it again, and the error persists.
At first, I thought it was a bad card, but then I restored from a backup and everything was fine. Then, I attempted the update again, and this time it was successful.
I was able to install the September map last week after experiencing the same problem; this time, restoring the backup created during the update resolved the issue.
Strangely, it also lengthens the process from three hours to seven.

To get the map update to work, you had to restore from a backup, which sounds like an incredibly frustrating process. For the update, could you please tell me the type of computer and SD card reader you're using? If you could elaborate on your system a bit more, maybe someone could figure out what's triggering that strange corruption error.

I am going to enquire with my dealer about this because I am simply wondering if I am the only one experiencing this strange behaviour with my regular HP Elitebook g6 and its deltaco external reader.
