The vehicle is a 2007 ML63, and I require a left rear calliper component. I possess access solely to 7Zap and Partsouq, but not the MB EPC. The component is a retaining spring with a small plate affixed, which conceals the exterior of the calliper. The ML63's part number is A1644230623, featuring an AMG imprint. It is no longer available from MB. In every exploded diagram of the rear calliper I have encountered, it is designated as part number 340.

That’s the minor rascal, yet this is where it becomes intricate. In the 7Zap database, that identical part number is listed for all W164 rear callipers, not exclusively for the AMG variant, thus I find it difficult to believe it could be accurate. Might a benevolent individual examine the EPC for the schematic of a non-AMG variant of the W164 and verify if Mercedes assigns a distinct part number for the identical component? I would be profoundly appreciative...

I have previously purchased a few of those aftermarket parts, assuming they are compatible with the R-class and likely identical to those for the ML; it's reassuring to have this verified.
The original is undoubtedly no longer available from MB; I have identified two potential sources, one located in California (which does not ship to the UK), and another in Latvia that may be unreliable - I am awaiting their response. Please extend your good wishes for my success...

Just a notification. By registering with MY US, you will receive shipments from the United States for items that sellers do not dispatch to the UK. The majority of sellers appear to be agreeable to dispatching items to them. I have utilised them multiple times without any issues.
