I'm accustomed to older, heavier Toyota engines, not the more complex Mercedes petrol ones! I'm about to do the first service on my 1994 E320 and would like some clarification on the following specs:
1. Based on the different posts and previous invoices, it appears that the optimal oil specification is semi-synthetic 05W40 or maybe 10W40. Favourite Mercedes-Benz brand? (This may be a simple question, but I usually just go by the oil's specifications and stick to well-known brands.)
2. Filter for oil. Yes, I do have the part number (1041800109). Am I correct?
3. Could you please recommend a good filter top wrench for me?
Fourthly, spark plugs. Am I to use the part number A0031591603 or the part number A0031596903? I'm confused. Is it necessary to replace them every twelve months? am I allowed to wait if I haven't travelled 12,000 miles?
5. Do you know of a good place to buy all of this online?
