The low battery message is popping up more frequently now, so I wanted to say hello to everyone. Valve reading was 12.3 volts. Twelve and a half volts following charging.
Will I need to reset the computers if I swap out the batteries? I'm confident I can do it.

No reset was necessary when I got mine changed at Halfords (I know, I know!!), but it is an older model (my16)—just like mine (my'45)

For my my20 d180 mild hybrid, I did instal a new battery. Along with the standard +ve and -ve, there are several connections to the dc-dc converter. The BMS resolved itself, but getting a new one would be less expensive than taking it to a JLR dealer for diagnostics. Prior to installation, charge the new battery. Make sure the voltage doesn't exceed 15 volts when charging the battery in the car. The systems aren't fond of it!

I replaced mine around four weeks ago without performing any resets, and it is still functioning properly. I looked for a reset button on my OBD reader, but I couldn't locate one.

It has been mentioned that the systems were kept powered up through the 12v socket in the boot. This idea is starting to appeal to me. In order to remove the battery, you must disconnect two big cables that are located on the left side of the positive connection; what are they for? Is it necessary to keep these powered?
