F20 118i 2019 Performance Stage 1

I am considering a stage 1 remap for my 118i, but I have encountered mixed opinions regarding the B38 remapping, with some suggesting it may excessively strain my turbo while others claim a minor remap poses minimal risk.
I am enquiring if anyone possesses greater expertise and can assist me.
