Do-it-yourself 40k service-maintenance triumph!

Extremely excited! I performed my own oil change, replaced the spark plugs, changed the engine and cabin filters, and cleaned the MAF sensor. I intended to thoroughly clean the throttle body as well, but it appeared quite pristine internally—and I was uncertain about how to remove and reinstall it—so I merely performed a swift wipe of the barrel and butterfly. A microfibre towel saturated with cleaner retained minimal dirt.
I adhered to this video regarding the spark plugs, similar to other forum participants.

I fitted NGK ILKAR8AC8 spark plugs sourced from Rock Auto. Transitioned to 5w-30 lubricant as well. I estimate that I removed $1200 worth of labour from the nearby dealership. The idle appears to be exceptionally smooth now, as does the low-end acceleration. I will provide an update if the miles per gallon improves substantially. I value the insights I gained from fellow owners here!

That constitutes a substantial weekend of upkeep, particularly with the simultaneous completion of the plugs and filters.

According to my assessment, factoring in Dealer add-ons, you have saved $27,000. Excellent work!
