CX-80 and CX-60 DSA mode problems

How do other users feel about this mode?
This mode is no longer useful on my CX-80 and other Cx-60s. For the CX-5, the equivalent mode was a lifesaver; it would sound an alarm if you got too near to the vehicle in front of you, keeping you at a distance that the European Union recommends.
At 30 km/h, my CX-80 requires you to be within 2 meters of the vehicle ahead before the mode appears, just like in the manual. All CX-80s, according to Mazda UK, respond in the same way when the graphic does appear: with an audible warning and the throttle deactivated (not in manual).
I still can't believe Mazda set this as the standard. Seems more like a glitch in the program's code.

It's quite strange that the DSA mode disables the throttle, particularly when you're only two meters away. Does driving at higher speeds affect the activation distance or behaviour in any way? By providing more details, you may assist other owners in determining if they are going through the same issue.

This is the document I sent to Mazda UK; they say they are unsure of its proper functioning and have sent it to Mazda Europe for review. All CX80s in Europe are doing this, according to Mazda UK.At 30 km/h, you need to slow down to about 2 meters for the DSA to activate! beyond the vehicle ahead of it. Since I have performed static calibrations at2,4,6, and 8 meters with my wife's car in front, I can attest to the fact that I was that near. You need to be approximately four meters away from the vehicle ahead before it activates at 60 km/h. Not only does it activate the screen as described in the manual, but an audible alarm also goes off, and it seems like the car takes over the control of the throttle. Using the DSA visual warning instead of the SBS one makes it look like SBS.
SBS is effective on the vehicle and has been seen multiple times when the driver ahead of you has done something foolish.
Jakub has also seen all of these results in the Czech Republic.
Based on the information you provided, DSA should function at a range of 4 to 8 meters, which is twice the distance I have observed.
Running it on a calm public road has prevented me from testing it at speeds higher than 60 km/h.
Later on, I will share some additional cosmetic remarks. I have experience with aircraft mission systems and radar. There isn't a huge leap in complexity, but safety is paramount.
Apologies for being interested.

The system is identical in my 2026 CX-30; however, I am still adjusting to it all. My main complaint is that, while using MRCC, some moron cuts in front of you, and I have to wait for that brief moment of the car hard braking. Unfortunately, there is no way to prevent this.
Although RCTA and FCTA are slightly too sensitive, it's still a good system overall.
I have gotten 460 kilometres out of a tank of go petrol, so far, so good.
By the way, there are a few new TSBs in the MEGA link, mostly for North American models. I'm surprised by how few have been issued for the CX-80. Those two extra years spent sorting out the car in Japan paid off, as usual. My Mazda, like all Japanese manufacturers, always thinks right. A man who traded in his old CX-60 for this year's model wrote that the new car is a huge improvement, especially in terms of ride quality.
