I placed my order for the EV3 GT Line three months ago, and I still haven't received a date for when it will be delivered. I was hoping to receive it this month, but to no avail. But I don't know if that's a mistake or not, but it seems like EV3 owners are leaving the bandwagon for EV2s on this site. I wonder if I got the wrong car. I recently sold my beloved VW iD3, which I had for four years. I couldn't bring myself to reorder the exact same vehicle, and for the past eighteen months, I've been on the lookout for vehicles with exceptional battery ranges.

As far as I can tell, this question does not have a simple answer.

The EV2 and EV3 look very similar to each other.
Compared to the EV1, the EV2 is noticeably smaller both inside and out.
Both the battery and the range of the EV3 are significantly larger.
Though it won't be much, the EV2 ought to be more fuel efficient.
Their handling and performance are adequate, but not up to the level of a sports car.
Most people can easily wear either one.
Their DC rapid charging capabilities should be comparable since they share the same 400V e-GIMP platform.
Enjoy the ccNc infotainment system and dashboard in both vehicles.
Hopefully, the most recent and improved version of the infamous ICCU is now available to both of them.
Both the EV2 and the EV3 perform admirably in reliability surveys, even when faced with early ICCU issues.
If V2L options are important to you, I am unsure.

Thus, it all boils down to individual needs and preferences. Either your gut feeling or a thorough examination of the model specs would be required. For my wife, the EV3 GT-Line S was the clear winner because of her need for a head-up display.

Thank you. It appears that we are very much alike. Alright, I'm relieved that the car hasn't let you down. Regarding HUD, I had it on my iD3 and loved it. Unfortunately, I didn't spring for the S because I was too preoccupied with the range and didn't care for the Air plastics or seats. So, I will miss that feature. It will make me happy if it's just as good as the iD3.

Delivery times may be affected by the ongoing industrial strikes at Kia Factories in Korea.
Still a fantastic vehicle, EV3 has no flaws.

Someone I know had both an EV6 and an EV3, and they found that the EV3's greater range and storage capacity made it the better choice for longer trips. You're absolutely right; the EV3 is an excellent vehicle.

Buying a vehicle is extremely subjective. Because everyone has unique requirements.
One of the reasons for the change, as he mentioned, was that the EV3 battery was too big for their needs, so they switched to the EV2, which has a smaller battery.

I traded in my Rangerover L405 for an EV9 because I adore my EV3 for so many reasons. Even though I still use the three more, I'm content with my two-car garage. Also, the 1934 Austin for those times when a gearbox is required.
