The problem with my mirrors began at 80,000 miles. The Kia service was mentioned twice. Complete failure was achieved by 97k. I went over 100,000 (by a small margin) when I booked with Kia because of my high mileage and their wait times. During my phone booking, I was assured that this would not be a problem. My naiveté in believing that Kia would honour my warranty was proven wrong. The repair, which should have been covered by the warranty, cost me £469 just yesterday. Your booking line staff was recorded and listened to, so maybe they should apologise to me and get some training. On the contrary, the main dealer began blaming me for being outside of warranty while quoting some Latin. They refused to provide me with a VAT receipt yesterday because my claim was for a "partial warranty," even though I am self-employed and needed one. Gets the creeps. They consistently avoid answering questions and instead make you wonder if you have been accurately charged. Their invoices have always been confusing to me; lately, they have stopped sending them on the same day that I paid! I will contact them via email to enquire about the possibility of receiving one. At KIA, there is absolutely no customer service. The dealership's antics cost them a sale because I just bought my son a BYD, and I intend to do the same when I save up enough money to buy my own KIA. Unfortunately, the dealership's ambiguous pricing and lacklustre customer service are the real letdowns, not the cars themselves. There are a lot of dissatisfied customers here.

The warranty should still cover the repair if the problem was reported and acknowledged by the Kia dealer before the warranty expiration or mileage limit. It's not their fault that they couldn't look into it sooner.

Are you referring to the dealer?

I believe the dealer should honour the warranty if they have acknowledged that the valid warranty issue existed before the warranty expired. It is not the customer's fault if things are delayed due to the dealer's booking system or parts holdups.

Your reply is greatly appreciated. They didn't say that. Yes, I did my best. As I was repeatedly transferred from Kia UK to the dealership, I am unsure of whom to address my complaints with next. I needed them to fix it because it became exhausting. The dealership informed me yesterday that the warranty must be within mileage at the time diagnostics are performed.
