My left front tyre went over a pothole. It has been informed to me that the drive shaft, outer CV joint, stabiliser link, lower ball joint, and left/right control arm need to be replaced.
1. Is this correct?
2. Is the drive shaft also required to be replaced?
I eagerly await your guidance.

Also, you might need to replace the drive shaft if the shock was severe enough to necessitate a CV replacement.
Extreme speed or large pothole?

In their opinion, the entire drive that needs replacing is unlikely if they provide advice on the outer CV.
My two favourites from that group would have to be the stabiliser link and the control arm with the ball joint. Make sure you get the full control arm with the ball joint when you buy it.

Home Page is where you want to go if you need a full drive shaft; I've shopped there many times, and they always have great prices and fast shipping. Call them up if it says it's out of stock; the website isn't always reliable.

I appreciate you getting back to me. I feel like they're taking a chance on me by replacing the drive shaft, just because I'm a woman.
