Post by John Prewer » Thu Nov 07, 2013 11:08 am

1964 MGB Tourer Licence/Registration AER 155B

28-Feb-64 – Built at Abingdon on Thames
06-Apr-64 – Sold by Hallens of Cambridge (MG Dealer since the 30's)
07-Sep-82 – Bought from the original owner for rebuild
Sep-83 – 1st rebuild finished by current owner
Apr-86 – Front cover of MG Enthusiast magazine
Jun-92 – MG Enthusiast cover for MGB's 30th Birthday
Feb-Dec-11 – 2nd rebuild by Beer of Houghton

AER 155B has toured Czechoslovakia, UK, France & Germany, has competed in races, track days, hill climbs, sprints & has won:

MGCC Silverstone Race Meeting: Hanks Trophy
MGCC Wiscombe Hill Climb: first in class
MGCC Vijlen Hill Climb: first in class

AER 155B is as original + period Kenlowe fan, period NokOf spinners, roll bar, unleaded conversion & suspension upgrades.

I am planning to fit an original Shorrock C142B supercharger kit for an MGB from the '60s. In November the car goes to have its rebuilt original 18GA engine and the blower fitted.

Hi John, so have you had the car since 1982? Be cool to see some photos, especially of that original supercharger.
