Dubiously incomplete records show this car as a standard domestic roadster convertible built February 1975, 1st registered August 1975, retailed from a dealership in Mansfield Notts. BUT, I am convinced that the car was built with raised suspension, rubber bumper bracketry and an early emission type engine. I am equally convinced that this vehicle was built with full sized smiths instrumentation, metal crinkle finish dash and real seats as opposed to deckchair. I would greatly value any person of my advanced years who may remember this transition model.

What are you basing your suspicions on ? Have you tracked down the build sheet information or manufacturer's paperwork to suggest the way it is now is not the way it left the factory ?
