They may be a bit wider than the MGB seats but i think people have made them fit. They are quite popular on the US MGB forums I think

Re: bonnet scoop for mgb

Im a great fan of the 4 barrel carbs myself and will be going that route with my V8 conversion. Also the self contained fuel injection systems in a 4 barrel carb look a like body such as the Holley Sniper are well worth a look albeit more costly. . Just a thought- but how about a replica MGC bonnet ?

Re: some direction

If you are in the UK I would start with DVLA. For a small fee they will send you details of the previous owners and any significant information such as colour changes etc. Writing to the previous owners is always an idea. Many will have moved but you would be surprised at how often people leave a fo...

Re: V8 into a standard RB BGT, advice

The Roger Williams book seems to be aimed at 200bhp plus cars and involves the use of upgrades which strike me as less likely to be necessary if the intention is to produce something closer to the original MGBGTV8. which was frankly a cracking car just the way it was. Though I do have access to an L...

Re: V8 conversion MG Midget

Id be particularly interested in hearing more about your Midget V8 conversion. Ive just acquired a V8 Im rebuilding to drop into my rubber bumper MGBGT. I just realised its 30 years since I last worked on a midget so sadly cant remember much about the engine bay other than I remember it being smalle...

Fully rebuilt MGB 1800 engine & good Overdrive gearbox

I am open to offers on my recently rebuilt B series engine and known good Overdrive gearbox. I am selling these as the car is now being converted to a V8. The 1800 engine has had hundreds spent on it by the car's previous owner and has covered only low mileage since it's rebuild. It runs like a swis...

Re: I am very, very, late.

Have you decided if you are going to look for a finished car you can get in and drive straight away, something almost complete that may need a bit of tidying or something that needs more extensive work ? I'd always assumed MGBs would be much more expensive than they actually are. I then got into var...
